Disclaimer: I have never made a craft with corks in my life. But I have opened many bottles of wine while crafting and want to share both of my loves with you.
A few years ago I decided to make a t-shirt quilt to clean out my closet. Most days I’m thrilled that project led me to a hobby that I love – but there are the days that I wonder what I was thinking.
Since I made that first quilt I’ve made dozens more projects from quilts to bags to toys.
Even though (most) of my finished products look pretty good, I have also now have a deep and meaningful relationship with my seam ripper.
There are a lot of blogs out there that will tell you how to make beautiful things and show a finished product with beautiful straight seams. But I want to share what actually happens in my craft room – warts and all.
So welcome to my story! I hope you enjoy it and that it inspires you to create something (even if it is a bit wonky) or to at least drink some wine and think about creating something.
Explore the blog by checking out my projects, some wine recommendations, my uncorked thoughts, and some tips and tricks I’ve learned along the way.
